Our house is very beautiful, 150 years old, located in a pretty, quiet street in a very good area, 20 minutes walk from the city centre.
It has been recently modernised so is very comfortable but nevertheless retains all its period features.
The modern kitchen/dining room has marble worktops and counter, and all the appliances and conveniences you would expect in a modern kitchen.
At the front there is a very pretty view of the church gardens, so it is quiet and not overlooked by other houses.
There are good views from the rear bedrooms - you can see the city centre from here.
There is a medium sized, well tended garden to the front and rear of the house, with a terrace and barbecue, trampoline, bicycles etc. Our house is very beautiful, 150 years old, located in a pretty, quiet street in a very good area, 20 minutes walk from the city centre.

Our house is just a 20 minute walk from the centre of the historic and famous city of Bath - a beautiful city built 250 years ago in the classical (Georgian) style and still almost completely intact.
Bath is a world heritage site and the most popular tourist destination West of London.
It has a population of 88,000 and is famous not only for its fabulous architecture and great historical interest, but also for its spa, its many highly-rated museums and art galleries, its shopping, many restaurants and vibrant nightlife.
The countryside around Bath is particularly beautiful, and suitable for walking and exploring the Cotswold region with its beautiful towns and villages and their quaint pubs.
London is just 90 minutes away (by train or motorway), Stonehenge 60 minutes, the nearest seaside resort 60 minutes, Stratford-on-Avon 90 minutes and the mountains of Wales 90 minutes away.
There are two regular bus services from the end of the street to the centre - every 10 minutes - but it is only a 20 minute pretty walk to the centre. The main train station is 15 minutes walk away. We have three teenage children - 14, 14 and 16 - who go to local schools.
My wife Elizabeth is an artist and some of her drawings and sculptures can be found in the house and garden.
I run a marketing communications company with offices in Bath and London.
Our car is a Chrysler Voyager (7 seats).
We have house-swapped twice before - our visitors have always loved our house, the city of Bath and its environs. We have three teenage children - 14, 14 and 16 - who go to local schools.
