Our apartment is located in one of the most trendiest areas of downtown Copenhagen. The streets are narrow and the atmosphere is laid back and hip. The area is mostly inhabited by students and younger families.
5 minutes walk from the old down town part of Copenhagen, and you are close to everything. Beautiful parks for relaxing, shopping, clubbing, museums, café´s etc.
The nearest beach is only a 15 minute bike ride away and if you don't like sand in your toes there are several habour baths in the center.
The public transportation works really well and you can get around town in very short time. We have several good bikes including a cargobike that loads 150 kg. We use it as transportation for our kids and bringing home groceries. (see picture)
Fromthe apartment you are within walkingdistance from everything. All the atractions such as Tivoli and Nyhavn. And for relaxing you can visit Assistens. A graveyard, but it is also used as a park for sunbathing.

We are a family of 4. Stepanie and Arne (38) and Vilhelm (6 years) and Nilla (18 months). We have lived in Copenhagen for many years and just love the city. We love travelling, just came back after 6 months in Asia and Australia - and we have both lived outside Denmark for longer periods. So we really appreciate hospitality and know how much it means when somebody else welcomes you into their homes.
So far we only had one house exchange...and a great one too. The family that used our apartment just loved it here..;o)
