Description of our house

We offer our beautiful home, built in 1924 and situated right at the beach near the historic town of Elsinore. The house is decorated in a typical costal Scandinavian style and has 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and a large livingroom with a spectatular view over the sea of Oresund and the coast of Sweden. In front of the house, to the north, we have the ocean, and to the south, at the back of the house, we have our own gate to a forrest. At the front porch, you can prepare your dinner on our Weber gas grill and enjoy the meal while the sun sets in the ocean.

The house is situated at the north coast of Zealand, near Hamlet's Kronborg Castle dated back to 1570, in the city of Elsinore and close to the fashionable old fishing village Hornbaek, with excellent shopping facilities and beaches. Copenhagen can be reached by car in approx. 40 min. and locally, there is a wide range of things to do. Apart from swimming from the jetty, you can explore the forrest by bike (we have 4 in various sizes) or you can take the kayak and paddle along the beautiful coast. Elsinore is a cosy town with a lot of medieval atmosphere, and from the harbour, Sweden is only a ferrytrip of 20 min. away. Something about ourselves

We are a family of 4, Anders Christian 10, Sara 19 and Ruth and Jens. Ruth is MD, Ph.D., working with genetics at the National hospital in Copenhagen, and Jens is in the entertainment business as a TV-director, directing television-shows for the major networks in Denmark. We love travelling and in 2011 we have visited Italy, France, Spain and Mexico.
