The house is located 7 km from the center of Copenhagen. It is close to both busses, 50 m, and metro, 600 m. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the city center by public transportation. We live close to Tivoli Garden, the Zoo and the lovely new beach, Amager Riviera, witch offers several kinds of watersports. Also the brand new aquarium, The Blue Planet (Den Blå Planet) just opened on March 22'nd and is only 5 minutes walking distance away. The aquarium is the largest in Northern Europe and have all kinds of exotic creatures, such as Hammerheads and Anacondas.
On the West side of Amager there is a large protected area with both woods and open land and a number of Geo-caching sites.
Copenhagen is a vibrand city with many places to go. We have museums and restaurants, famous sights like The Little Mermaid, the Royal Residen, Amalienborg and Christiania, and in the heart of the city you can find 2 km of shopping street, the longest in Northern Europe. Copenhagen also has an interesting history with many wars and battles, great kings and their mistresses.
From our house all you need is in walking distance. A supermarked called Netto, the bank and the postoffice all 300 m. away, the beach 1,2 km., the farmaci 500 m., the cinema 600 m., and in case of a rainy day there are indoor swimming facilities 1,4 km. away.

We are Sine(36) and Claus(45), a married couple with three younger children, Katinka(8), Sylvester(6) and Karla(4). Claus works as manager at Birger Christensen A/S in Copenhagen and Sine is a taylor, studying to be a teacher. We enjoy travelling both domestic and abroad. We have tried house-swaping twice, in France and Switzerland, both times was a big succes.(Read recommendation.)
