100 m2 / 1,100 sq.ft apartment in the very centre of Copenhagen, in the Christianshavn, founded in 1624. The building is "funkis": built in a functionalist style from 1933 with a lift. One large bedroom and a living room and dining room en suite. New windows ensure no sounds from outside street. Three minutes walk from the metro, buses to the rest of Copenhagen - and a 5 (yes, five!) minutes walk to Parliament and the shopping/pedestrian areas. 5 minutes in the other direction and you may find yourself in Christiania - the free commune. Or you can just wander around the old coppled streets of the district and enjoy the laid back feel of Christianshavn.

Our neighborhood
The area is very nice and green, although situated so centrally. Christianshavn is quite multicultural, laid back and very nice to walk in, sit at the cafes (100 meters from my flat you'll find the best baker "Lagkagehuset" in Copenhagen - watch out for their cakes! It is a friendly area - safe as is all Copenhagen - and it's easy to spend a lot of time just wandering around the district with its cafes, small shops, the canal and the green spaces and just hang out.
