Our house is in a very small island in Denmark - famous for it's beauty. The house is 110 m2 and situated in the most wonderful nature only 3 km from the famous town Aeroesköbing, a protected town with very beautiful old listed buildings of special architectural interest. Just in front of our house is a meadow with wildlife reservation especially for birds. The area is very attractive for ornithologists. From our house is 600m to seaside and a child-friendly beach The house is 185 years old and restored in 2005€gently - to keep the old atmosphere. Inside is all modern facilities.living room with an open kitchen, two guest rooms with 2 beds in each and a master bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen is connected to a utility room. We have a floor heating. The garden is very big and private undisturbed. In summertime it is full of flowers in all colours and from the garden there is a amazing view to open fields and meadows.

Aeroe is a pearl among the islands of Denmark. Aeroe is approximately 30 km long and 8 km at its widest. At the latest census, the island was inhabited by a total of 7050 souls.Four efficient ferry services take care of frequent connections to the mainland and give you a rare opportunity for a Danish experience: a relaxed ferry crossing. You can also cross with the ferries to other islands around Aroe, which is a good idea for a day trip during your stay. The traffic with cars in Aeroe is so little, that we don't have any traffic lights. Most visitors come to Aeroe in the summertime, but in recent years, more and more people realise the specialAeroe-atmosphere found in spring and autumn - and obviously in the wintertime where experience in nature, adds to the impression of the peace and quiet where many an overburdened soul can unwind and have a much needed breather from the razzle-dazzle of everyday life. Aeroe is a great experience - all year round! In very few places in the world will you be able to walk around in an urban landscape from the Middle Ages. You can do just that in Aeroesköbing. Here houses and streets are delicately restored to retain the character of the Middle Ages. This ismall town was awarded the Europa Nostra prize in 2002. We are a married couple 62 and 52. Our names are Lone and Christian We are a teacher and a gardener. We came to this island 12 years ago and we love to be here. Our hobbies are our grandchildren who visit us as often as possible, restoring the house, keeping the big garden, painting, reading, playing theatre, dancing tango and playing bridge. We have tried to exchange houses 3 times before with succes . It's really a wonderful way of traveling and meeting new people. We will take good care of your home and take care of your cats and dogs as well.
