We offer a large and functional house in Aarhus. We have four bedrooms, two with one single bed, one with two beds, one with a double bed. There is one living room, where all the family can relax and eat. And a nice modern kitchen whit all you need for cooking and so on. It's a very nice house in a quiet neighbourhood, near forest and beach.

Ideally located to explore Aarhus, and it´s museums(AROS: T. Eliáson, Silkeborg:A.Jorn/COBRA, and others), shops, plenty of good restaurants and beautiful parcs. Aarhus is surrounded by lovely forests and very nice beaches . As a touring base, to the rest of Denmark our home is central, not far from the highway. 2½ hours by car from Copenhagen and Skagen, 1½ hours by car from Odense (H.C. Andersen), North Sea, the famous Legoland (activities & funpark). Trains and buses runs from early morning to late evening. Something about ourselves

We are Anette and Bent, a married couple with two teenagers(15,17)and one smaller child (9 years). We are both professionals (engineer and anthropologist) and enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have already done one home exchange, and it was very successful, so we very keen to try it again. It is a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the Denmark.
