The house is build in 1953 and is typical Danish villa for that period with red bricks and balcony. In the ground level there is kitchen, two livings rooms connected with french doors, a little bathroom and a extra living-room - we call this room the sun-room, because it is always sunny and warm. Very quiet neighbourhood. Friendly neighbours. We have a cat and many of our neighbours have cats and small dogs, not nousing barking dogs. Our house is located in northern part of Aarhus, only 15 minutes by bike or 5 minutes by car to beaches, woods and of course downtown Aarhus. Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark, with app. 250.000 inhabitants. It is a culturally vibrant centre hosting both an international art museum (Aros), the Jutland Opera, the Music house and "The old Town" as well as lively shopping and nightlife. Aarhus is beautifully located by the coast and rich with forrest and farm land nearby. Aarhus is the chosen summer recidence of the Queen of Denmark. Major attractions in Denmark within 2 hours drive includes: Legoland, Odense - birthtown of H.C. Andersen, the very beautiful West Coast of Denmark with our famous sandy beaches, Skagen - the tip of Europe, old castles and middle age ruins, viking museums and plenty of history. A 2 hour drive will take you to Germany, 3 hours by car and you are in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are a family with two daughters - 3 and 6 years old. Anne (38) works in a major danish company with talent development and human resource. Morten (39) works in small Danish consultant company with IT and communication. We have a female cat, 3 years old. Our neighbour can look after the cat, but of course it kind of comes with the house. ![]()
