Dear Homeexchanger,
Our apartment is on the seaside and sand beach is just across the street (10 meters). You will love it. There are 2 small bedrooms with beds for four (double bed and bunk bed) and living room with couch for two. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bathroom is a bath and washing machine.
The apartment is full of sun, situated on the 2nd (top) floor in our private house and has a klima and beautiful terrace.
If you prefer romantic nature, we can offer you our rural house. It has a 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and a private swimingpool. It is in the peaceful valley with great nature, 6km from the sand beach. Great position for hiking, mountain biking, paragliding or resting near the pool. Note that we do not have telephone/internet in our rural house at the moment and pool can be used from May/June to September. Car recommended for rural house. Dear Homeexchanger,

Our house is ideally located for activities like sunbathing, relaxing or scuba diving, water skiing and other water sports. Aquarium and Adrenalin park are 15 min on foot. Ideal for families with kids!
There are nice restaurants with fresh and delicious local Mediterranean food and coffee bars near the sea and beaches. We will recommend you the good ones.
Crikvenica offers some interesting excursions by the ship. Trips to island of Krk and Rab are interesting. Island Krk is across the canal - 4 min by super fast boat (operated regular in summer). You can reach on a day trip islands Cres, Rab, Lošinj, Krk and Pag.
If you prefer museums, theater, cinema and shopping, you can go to nearby city of Rijeka (35 min by car). Rijeka is very famous for the great international Carnival ( http://www.ri-karneval.com.hr ) with more than 5000 participants and 100 000 viewers. You can put a mask on and enjoy yourself like we do.
For NATURE lovers we are close to several national and nature parks (Plitvice lake, Brijuni islands, Velebit mountain, Risnjak and Učka). Famous Plitvice Lakes are on the UNESCO's World Heritage List http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr
CITIES- In one day trip you can easily reach: Venezia 3.5h, Trieste 2h, Ljubljana 2.5h, Zagreb 1.45h and Zadar 3.5h.

We both work, and also voluntarily equipping the children playgrounds. We are active and have lot of interest: cycling, nature, museums and culture, skiing, hiking...
We are non smokers, but for them we have a terrace ;)
Sometimes we would travel with my mother that may be 5 person.
For long weekends we would like to go some places near by (Austria, Italy, Slovenia) and for longer Kranjska Gora Slovenia (2-3 weeks) are our first choice but we are open for all offers and would be very pleased to welcome you in our house.
This is our summer house and it is available from the end of September to mid July. We are in tourist business so we can offer some other properties (rural houses like one in the picture) for homeexchange out off summer season, from October to May.
Simultaneous and nonsimultaneous exchange is possible.
For us, Home exchange is the way of meeting people, exploring other ways of life and letting others to feel our still unexplored land.
