We offer a large and beautiful apartment in the center of Nanjing. We have two bedrooms, one with one single bed, one with a double bed. There is one living room(with a sofa where 1 people can sleep)with a dining hall, one study with one single bed, and a kitchen. It's a big apartment and a typical traditional Chinese decorated apartment, with wooden floor, air-conditioner in every room, and devi-heating floor in every room even bathroom. It is warm in winter and cool in summer.

Situated in a picturesque area near city wall, Qinhuai River and Qingliang Hill in urban Nanjing, with shopping Mall, numbers of banks,snack bars and bookstores nearby, not far from the beautiful The Ancient Forest Park and Treasure Ship Park. Five minutes walk to the buses to Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum and many other scenery spots. Many professors,officials and artists live around. Nice restaurants, Chinese and foreign cuisines, Cafes with music and entertainment in the evening. Nanjing is only 75 minutes away from Shanghai by High-speed rail, and 4 hours away from Yellow Mountain by bus. Something about ourselves

We are Lily and Dongdong, a married couple with one teenager daughter. We are both professionals (professor and editor) and enjoy travelling in every summer and winter vacation. We travelled a lot in China and several European countires, and usually prefered homestay or staying in friends' houses to learn more about local culture. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in China. I will go to Boston for 6 months academic visit from Feb to Aug 2012, and my husband and daughter will meet me in Boston in summer. So we are now looking for a longterm exchange in Boston. Anyway, we have a second apartment which can be offered to friends from other cities who want to visit Nanjing anytime during the year.
