Description of our house
We are pleased to introduce you to our warm and cozy country house in less than 25 minutes from downtown Montreal. On the first floor is the living room with fireplace and piano, the kitchen, the dining room, the family room, a wc, and a small reading and relaxation room. The family room has a view on the garden and terrace. The rooms are open, airy and bright. On the second floor you will find three bedrooms, one used as an office but can be use as a bedroom. The sofa can be transformed in a comfortable double bed. In addition, you will find a bathroom with a large tub and an open shower in ceramics. The bedrooms are also very light and airy. There is a garage attached to the house and a garage at the back of the backyard in order to store the kayaks (2), gardening tools, ... Backyard decorated with large English gardens offers privacy, security (fenced) and a peaceful and enchanting area to rest or to welcome friends and family. Table and chairs (6) furnish the terrace with BBQ. Outdoor games are available for children (modules, playhouse and swing).

From the backyard, you can walk (about 200 steps) to Lake St. Louis with kayaks under the arm! Also, you have direct access to the bike path along the edge of Lake St. Louis (Lakeshore). From a walking distance from the house, you have access to many parks and green areas on the lake, a swimming pool, a tennis courts, Marina of Baie D'Urfé, John Abbott College and the village of Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue. This little village offers restaurants, bistros and shops on a boardwalk along a small marina. In addition, there are several bus stops and commuter train leading you directly to downtown Montreal. You are also close to Highways 20 and 40. Finally, you will find a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a liquor store at a few minutes from the house and other small shops where you will find everything you need to meet your needs.
Something about ourselves
We are a married couple (Christian is a mechanical engineer and, Manon is a professional certified coach in NLP (neuro-linguistic programmation) with a little girl of four years old and a beautiful little black Labrador dog. Juliana is a very good traveler. We experienced a home exchange last summer in Provence, France, for a month and it went very well for all of us. We live a healthy and balanced life. We are active, calm, committed, thoughtful, clean and tidy. It’s important for us to eat well, sleep well and be active. We like outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, kayaks, sailing, biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing and skiing. We love life and enjoy every moment to the fullest!
