Le Plateau - Mile-end is a very hip multi-ethnic district designated the most en vogue neighbourhood of North America by Wallpaper magazine. Originally a working class district, le Plateau - Mile-end has grown to be a favourite home for local artists, students, professionals, and families.
Le Plateau - Mile-end is an exciting and in place to live. Full of ornate 19th century Victorian style homes, the neighbourhood is stylish, colourful and fantastic to walk around. The streets are always bustling with street musicians, couples walking hand in hand or pushing baby carriages, and people walking home after work with groceries for the evening meal.
Le Plateau - Mile-end abounds in eateries (restaurants, bakeries, cafés, cheese shops) hopping nightclubs and bars, and funky shops. Within walking distance of our front steps you will find art galleries, museums movie theatres and much more. And if you like shopping, then you will really love this area with fashionable boutiques.
We are 2 minutes walk from public transport. 15 minutes walk from metro. 30 minutes walk to downtown or 10 minutes by bus.
We are also five minute walk from the beautiful Mont-Royal Park. This is Montreal biggest and best park, designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, the same landscape architect who designed Central Park in New York City. Simply known as the mountain, it is a huge tree-covered park sprouting with nature lovers throughout the year and with exceptional views of the Montreal skyline, the river, and surrounds.

My husband and I (Gilles-Lise) are both professionals (labor relations and communications adviser). We love to travel and discover new places, cultures and people. We are open to travelling anywhere. We love to explore, and are open to many new experiences, and neighborhoods. We are quiet people, who are very respectful of the property of others and would expect the same return.
We are able to do non-simultaneous exchanges as we have a second house. My husband and I (Gilles-Lise) are both professionals (labor relations and communications adviser).
