EXCHANGE ALREADY BOOKED FOR SUMMER 2010. Our home is comfortable, clean, bright and spacious. It has a very well equiped kitchen (cooking is my hobby) with adjoining dining room. On the main floor, there is an office equipped with a desktop computer. On the same floor, there are 2 bedrooms: 1 queen and 1 double with very comfortable beds. Downstairs, in the family room, there is a second computer, sofas and TV. There is a 3rd bedroom (brand new high quality double bed). In an other room we have a double bed and a single bed. We have wireless internet. Each floor has it's own bathroom. The backyard is large and fenced with a heated pool, flowers and a berries' garden. We love having dinner under our mature apple tree. Our car can be part of the exchange. ÉCHANGE DÉJÀ CONCLU POUR ÉTÉ 2010! Jolie maison confortable, propre et lumineuse. Au rez-de-chaussée: cuisine bien équippée et salle-à-manger attenante, salon, 2 chambres à coucher (1 queen et 1 double), salle de bain et bureau avec ordinateur (iMac). En bas, un grand espace avec sofas, ordinateur des enfants et télévision. Il y a une autre pièce fermée où on peut installer un lit double et un lit simple, une salle de bain avec douche, et une 3e chambre à coucher (lit double). Piscine chauffée et cour agréablement aménagée. Notre voiture, pouvant accomoder 7 personnes peut faire partie de l'échange.

Our neighborhood
Ideally located as a touring base, our town is 25 minutes from Montréal, less than 2 hours from Québec City and Ottawa and around an hour of many ski resorts. For teenagers, La Ronde park is about 30 kilometers away with large scale roller-coasters and rides. The area offers many outdoor activities. For those who prefer the city life, Montréal, with it's european style has everything to please them! ----------- Tout près de Montréal, à 25 minutes du pont Jacques-Cartier et 20 minutes du tunnel Lafontaine, à moins de 2 heures de la ville de Québec et presque la même distance d'Ottawa. À 6 heures de route de New-York... Région qui offre plusieurs activités: grand parc d'attraction "La Ronde", ballades en montagne, équitation, cueillette de petits fruits, spa nordique, hébertisme extrême et plusieurs autres. La ville est tout près avec ses rues charmantes, ses musées et restaurants, le tout dans une atmosphère européenne. Montréal n'est pas une "trappe à touristes", c'est plutôt une ville où il fait bon se ballader et vivre. Plus je visite d'autres métropoles, plus je réalise que Montréal est exceptionnelle. Something about ourselves
I, Anne-Marie, am an elementary school teacher and my husband, Alain, owns and runs a landscaping business. Our 2 daughters (Juliette,14 and Marie, 16) study Ballet in Montréal and are quiet and well behaved. We have 2 very affectionate cats in the house: Simba and Canelle. We enjoy traveling but our schedule these past years has forced us to go away only during the Christmas Holiday, Spring break and a couple of weeks in summer. We usually go south during the Christmas holiday, on the Florida Gulf coast or in Mexico. We are open to just about any destination in August. Eventually, we will want to spend a few months in Europe, when I will take a year break from work. Then, France, Italy or even Scandinavia will be our choice of destination. We like our house to be clean and well kept and expect people to do the same. ------------- Anne-Marie (48 ans), enseignante au primaire, Alain (47 ans) entrepreneur en aménagement paysager, Marie (16 ans) et Juliette (14 ans) étudient toutes les deux le ballet à l'École Supérieure de Ballet Contemporain de Montréal. Elles sont sages et bien éduquées. Nous avons 2 chats très affectueux: Canelle et Simba. Nous aimons que notre maison soit propre et bien rangée et demandons aux gens qui viendront ici d'en prendre soin comme nous le ferons pour leur maison. Nous sommes intéressés par presque n'importe quelle destination, mais aimerions beaucoup aller faire la farniente dans le sud de la France l'été prochain.  marks the location of this home
