Charmante maison unifamiliale située au coeur de Montréal, rénovée et confortable, avec joli jardin intime et fleuri, patio. Le rez-de-chaussée regroupe, dans une aire ouverte tres éclairée, le séjour, la cuisine et la salle à manger. On y retrouve aussi wc et remise arrière pour vélos et accessoires de jardin. A l'étage : bureau-bibliothèque, chambre (lit double)avec walk-in, chambre avec lit double mural, salle d'eau (bain/douche), salle de lessive, balcons avant et arrière. This totally renovated centenial house can accomodate 4 people. Main floor includes a very spacious and sunny living-room with front and rear windows, a separate WC's, the dining-room, the kitchen, 2 outdoor balconies (rear and front) and indoor room for bikes and gardening devices. Equally sunny first floor accomodate two bedrooms with double bed, library+office room, full bathroom and 2 ourdoors balconies. The backyard garden is quiet, flowered and very refreshing during days and nights. Second largest city in Canada, Montreal is also the second largest French-speaking city in the world, a famous bilingual metropolis, renowned for its cultural and multicultural life, its international cuisine, and a wide variety of cultural events, including the Montreal Jazz Festival, the Just for Laughs Festival and the Montreal World Film Festival.

Notre résidence est située dans une rue calme, bordée de maisons en rangée et d'arbres, au coeur du «branché» quartier Plateau Mont-Royal. À proximité de tous les services, de 3 parcs (tennis, piscine) dont le Mont-Royal, d'une piste cyclable, d'artères commerciales avec cafés, restos, boutiques,théâtres,cinémas, etc. À moins de 5 minutes à pied : 2 stations de métro et 5 lignes d'autobus menant en 15 minutes au Vieux-Montréal et au Vieux-port(en bordure du fleuve Saint-Laurent),au centre-ville avec son réseau commercial souterrain qui s'étend sur 33 km de long, ses musées, ses galeries, ses festivals internationaux (Jazz, Francopholies, Cinéma, Humour). Right at the heart of the city in the trendy Plateau Mount-Royal neighbourhood, our residence has been built on a quiet street, bordered by stone houses and mature trees. Being closed two major business streets, our home is also neighbouring Mont-Royal, Lafontaine and Laurier parks, tennis lawns and swimming pools, a bikepath network,cafes,restaurants,shops,theatres,cinemas, etc. Within a 5 minutes walk : 2 subway stations and 5 bus lines drive you in 15 minutes in Old Montreal, Old Port of Montreal and downtown. There, you cannot miss one of the largest indoor cities in the world. These underground pedestrian walkways (33 kilometres long) deserve 10 subway stations, 62 buildings, 7 hotels, 200 restaurants, 40 movie theatres and 2 train stations ! Something about ourselves

Nous sommes deux muséologues des domaines de l'histoire et de l'art visuel contemporain. Également amateurs de théatre, de cinéma, de musique, de vélo, de randonnée dans la nature, et...nous adorons voyager! Nous avons fait un échange à ce jour et souhaitons prêter à nouveau notre résidence à des personnes respectueuses du bien d'autrui comme nous le sommes. Both manager and professionals linked with culture, museology, contemporary visual art and history working fileds, we enjoy theatre, cinema, music, biking, hiking, and travels ! This is our second experience with home exchange and we wish to lend our residence to people caring for it.
