Our home is comfortable and clean with a large yard and garden. There is a back deck and front porch which overlooks a wooded area and a bay. We have a modern kitchen, warm living room and dining room. There is a rec room in the basement with an attached garage. From our front window, depending on the season, we see herons, ducks and geese in the bay in front of us. On occasion, bald eagles perch in the trees across the road. Red foxes are ridiculously common in our neighborhood.

We are located in a desirable residential neighborhood in Charlottetown. We are five minutes by car from downtown where you will find artisans, fine dining, historic buildings and live theater. A 20 minute drive will take you to the gorgeous beaches, sand dunes and fishing communities of the island's north shore. Something about ourselves

We are Brian and Dinah, married with two girls, ages 12 and 14. Brian is a journalist and Dinah is a teacher of deaf and hard-of-hearing children. We have done some traveling as a family and plan to do more. This is our first venture with home exchange and we look forward to introducing others to all that Prince Edward Island and Maritime Canada have to offer.
