We offer a large bright three-bedroom detached house in Toronto's center core. The large eat-in kitchen leads to a perennial garden with flagstone terrace, table, Weber gas barbeque and chairs. The living room has a comfortable down-filled sofa, tv, ceiling fans. It connects with the dining room where you’ll find a piano and stereo equipment. Enjoy summer nights on our large front porch. The master bedroom is spacious with a new queen-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan and TV. The second bedroom is a bright oasis of calm with a single bed, couch, TV and desk. The third bedroom has a custom-crafted single bed and study desk. We are a three-minute walk from a popular weekly organic farmer’s market. We have a vast library of cookbooks. Restaurants and other amenities, including a large public park with tennis courts and a wading pool, are nearby. Galleries and museums are but a walk or short streetcar ride away.

We live in a well-treed residential neighborhood, circa 1920. We are one block south of St. Clair Ave. W., where you can enjoy a morning coffee and croissant at Pain Perdu, or a posh dinner at The Rushton, or perhaps something a little more casual, but still fine-dining, at the bustling Ferro’s bistro (just up the street). A modern dedicated streetcar line runs along St. Clair providing fast access to two subway lines. The area consists mostly of young professionals, artists and a declining older generation of Italian and Portuguese. We have a bustling outdoor organic market in a renovated historic streetcar railway yard, open every Saturday, just around the corner from us. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are a couple in our late 50s and will be (maybe) traveling with our 21-year-old son. We are freelance writers. We love Paris. We would like a two bedroom, with a nice kitchen and a pleasant place to eat and is close to a Metro. A terrace or garden would be nice, as would a piano. We are very open-minded and flexible. We'd consider a one bedroom if the sofa bed situation is not too bad. For London we would consider almost any area. We could consider anywhere in England. We could do something possibly this summer, but the fall and beyond and the summer of 2014 is doable. ![]()
