3 bedroom comfortable family home in west end Toronto, Georgian style circa 1949. Our house is on a quiet residential street surrounded by a giant green hedge with perfect privacy.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a queen bed and the other two rooms have singles. There is a toddler mattress that we can upgrade to another single. An air mattress can be added for additional children. Downstairs we have a spacious living room, a dining room that can accommodate 6 and eat in kitchen. The house is air conditioned in the summer as Toronto gets very warm and sunny.
The house has lots of toys (discretely hidden in the basement) so can be a perfect choice for children. We have several bikes including a cargo bike to help you get around town. We use it for our three children ( http://www.nihola.com - or you can use our regular adult bikes.
As we live in a very accessible neighbourhood, we do not own a car. However, the garage has car seats of all sizes and there is a parking spot for a rental/visitors. We use the car rental agency a few minutes walk from home.
We live a 10 minute ride from the Humber River and include our canoe so you can paddle down to Lake Ontario for a true Canadian experience. It holds 3 adults or 2 adults and children (we use it for the 5 of us). It is very stable and suits the novice paddler.

Our street is in the west end neighbourhood of Sunnylea. Our street follows Mimico Creek where wildlife roams freely in the city. This week there was a deer in our neighbour's garden! At the top of our street are shops, restaurants, churches and a movie theatre. The public swimming pool is a 10 minute walk as well as the skating arena in the winter season.
We are completely transit accessible with a 7 minute walk to Royal York subway (or you can ride the bus for 1 stop). Downtown is 30 minutes away. Marc takes the short commute daily to work. We go downtown regularly with the children.
We are very near to parks and trails if you enjoy walking, biking our canoeing. We keep our canoe at our local club ( http://www.thyc.ca where you can bike or walk to when you want to escape the bustle of the city. The Humber River connects to Lake Ontario if you wish to paddle the waterfront or out to Toronto Islands if you are ambitious.

We are a English/French family of five. Marc works in finance and enjoys sports and history in his free time. Mary is a librarian when not taking care of the children (5, 2 and 0) and is practicing for her first half marathon. We enjoy biking, swimming and visiting parks.
Our group would be some combo of 2 or 3 adults and 3 children. The baby doesn't need any special equipment.
We do prefer no pets due to allergies. We are a English/French family of five. Marc works in finance and enjoys sports and history in his free time.
