Description of our house
[
![]() ]
We offer a house in downtown Toronto located in a neighbourhood favoured by families with children and dogs. The house has a large open concept main floor with Living Room and Dining Room and stereo system (the house is wired for sound throughout). The kitchen is fully equipped as we love to cook. The kitchen leads out to the back deck, garden and pond where you can barbecue and enjoy the view. The second floor has an office with hi-speed internet (we have wifi througout), the main bathroom and a Bedroom/TV room. The third floor is the Master bedroom (with small ensuite bathroom) which is quite spacious, has a deck overlooking the garden and a couch that can serve as a bed for a 5th person/child. In the basement we have a laundry room, a third bathroom and exit to the garage. We have a car for optional use.

There is a beautiful large park at the end of the street and it's a 5 minute walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and boutiques on Danforth Avenue. The subway is a 7 minute walk or the bus stops at the corner. It's a 10 minute drive to a number of downtown museums, galleries, shopping etc. In the other direction it's a 10 minute drive to the lovely Beach neighbourhood with more shops, restaurants and a large beach on Lake Ontario. We are avid cyclists and runners and there are many lovely paths easily accessed from our house. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are in our early 50's and are retired. Sue was a software/consulting executive and Michael was the Managing Director of a small HR company. We love our neighbourhood and spend a lot of time here enjoying the city but we also love to travel and are open to seeing new places and things. We have done a lot of cycling in France and Italy and enjoy Europe a great deal. ![]()
