We live in a spacious 2 bedroom plus den corner apartment on the top floor of a low rise building. It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. We have HD TV with 200+ channels and High Speed WiFi. There is underground parking. The building has a well equipped exercise room with his-and-her saunas.

Thank you very much for your house and pet sit in Bloor West Village. Your condo is soooo comfortable, sunny and bright, that it was most enjoyable to stay there, even on the coldest days. Having the pleasure of 2 cats was the icing on the cake and I look forward to seeing them all again in April or May or June or whenever we get together for our planned lunch. Please keep us in mind for any future housesitting needs you might have. If our calendar is open, we can be there! Best regards." Our building is located in a great neighbourhood and just about everything you may need is within walking distance while a 15 minute subway ride takes you downtown. High Park, a 200 acre park, is just half a block away. Bloor West Village with its many shops and restaurants is about a 10 minute walk.
We love living here because Toronto is a vibrant city with lots to see and do.

We are a couple (Dutch and Canadian) of recently retired civil servants. We like to hike the great outdoors, visit zoos, museums, and historic sites. We have done house sitting in England and The Netherlands and three home exchanges. We are doing another home exchange with a couple on Vancouver Island this summer and with a gentleman from Dublin in October. Actually we will be pretty busy travelling until the spring of 2013; we are open for offers thereafter and would love to arrange an exchange with Iceland for next summer.
We have 2 middle aged indoor cats who will require some tender loving care. A "stand-in" cat sitter is usually available if you decide to go away for a couple of nights. Of course we will gladly look after your pets. Dogs are not allowed in our building. We are a couple (Dutch and Canadian) of recently retired civil servants.
