We have lived in our house for 10 years and we love it. It is the perfect city home. We have three bedrooms, two baths, and a fully furnished basement. The house was built 90 years ago, and has been fully renovated. We have planted a gorgeous garden at front. We have a nice deck and back garden, along with a hot tub. The house is furnished with antiques, in the dining room, living room and master bedroom. We also love that the house is located in the Beaches, the best neighborhood in Toronto. We are just three short blocks to the beach, Lake Ontario, restaurants, stores, and miles of parks and running trails.

Toronto is a great place to visit. Over a million tourists visit every year. Our house is located in the Beaches, one of the most popular tourist areas in the city. People come here for the many restaurants, the beautiful parks, the long boardwalk along the beach, and Lake Ontario. In Toronto, there are dozens of great things to do (the CN Tower, the Toronto Island, museums, opera, classical music, nightclubs, and thousands of restaurants from every culture. Not far away, you can visit Niagara Falls, the Muskoka lakes district (truly the most beautiful place in the world) and many other places that make Canada such an amazing country to see. We also own an incredible log home just two hours north west of the city. It is on 100 seclude acres of forest with its own private pond. If we do an exchange with you, you can also spend some time there as well.

We are a professional couple with two 20ish children. My wife is a family physician and I am an entrepreneur and writer. We love our two homes, and feel a little anxious about having someone live in our houses, but we are also interested in visiting other countries, and getting to know the culture without staying in hotels. One word of caution. We have four cats. They are wonderful creatures, but if you are allergic to cats, then this would not be a place for you to stay. We have a housekeeper, and two part-time assistants who will come each day to take care of the cats, so you don't need to. But we just wanted to tell you about them upfront. We also completed our first home exchange in August 2010 with a Parisian couple. It could not have gone better. We are very excited about new home exchange adventures.
