We moved to this house because the neighbourhood offers soooo much for families. Paramount Canada's Wonderland is a 15 minute drive from Aurora. At the end of our street is the GO train station which takes you to Toronto in 20 minutes. We are in the centre of the old part of town with the "Town Park" one street north. The library, churches, shops, restaurants, pubs are all a 5 minute walk. The Cultural Centre is at the end of the street, there is always an artist or two featured in the gallery and regular concerts on the weekends. The Town Park is where the Aurora Farmer's Market is held every Saturday morning with local produce, artisans, and musicians. The Town Park also presents "Concerts in the Park" throughout the summer where the community gathers with their lawn chair, kids dance in front of the bandshell. At the park there is a splash/water park for the kids as well as a large play park with swings and climbing gyms and a baseball diamond (in the winter there is an outdoor skating rink - very Canadian!). Our street is lined with trees and the houses have porches where our neighbours sit and relax with each other. There are always children riding their bikes or heading over to the park. It is like a little village, yet close to the big city of Toronto with transit at hand.

My husband and I have 3 children, they are 8, 6, and 5 - well-behaved and appreciative. I am Noelle and I work as a teacher of students with learning disabilities at a local elementary school (I have the summer months off) and Jamye is an operations manager at Bell Canada. We are very family oriented and most of our destinations include places where we have family that we would like to visit. We enjoy the outdoors and spend a lot of time at the family cottages in the summer....swimming, hiking, canoeing, going to the beach. We often bring the children for a weekend to Niagara Falls where we stay at Great Wolf Lodge (a family indoor waterpark/resort). Jamye and I enjoy going into Toronto to see a show and have a meal at the Distillery District. We would love to have an opportunity to show our children different parts of the world, and for us, being a young family of 5, we feel a house to go to would make things so much more enjoyable as a family. We take a lot of pride in our home as we worked on many of the renovations ourselves, and we would treat any home we visited with the same respect. We have family in the U.K. as well as Denmark that we would love to visit in the coming years.
