A charming mountain home situated on the backside of Whistler Mountain. Big bright windows look out on mountain views and trees, especially from patio. Hardwood floors, well-stocked kitchen (we love to cook), squeaky clean and open layout with vaulted ceilings in living room and bedrooms. Newly installed outdoor hot tub and deck. Ski-in access in winter. Steps from mountain biking, hiking trails and lake in summer. Located on a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Conveniently located on the south end of Whistler, providing easy access to Vancouver, a 90-minute drive away. Whistler Village is a eight minute drive or 25 minute bus ride to shopping, dining and nightclubs.

Whistler played host to the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. It's an all-season destination. Golf, mountain bike (downhill and cross country), hike, atv, fish, tennis, outdoor spas and lake lounge in the summer. A few steps from the house and you are on the mountain. Nice hikes and xc mountain bike trails. Also, neighbourhood tennis courts. Walk down the hill 15 minutes and you are on a lake with a small park. Over another five and there are pubs and fine dining options as well as Whistler Blackcomb Gondola. (There are three different gondola staging points around town.) Something about ourselves

Moving to Whistler was a lifestyle choice. We play in the mountains in every way we can: skiing, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing in winter and then mountain biking, canoeing and hiking in the summer. We are both working professionals (lawyer and journalist) who are active volunteers in our community. We have two dogs, but we have allergies, so we are looking for visitors who will keep our home as immaculate as we keep theirs. Steven is fluent in both English and French. Allergic to cats.
