My home is a comfortable, bright corner suite in a small building of long-time residents. In addition to the master bedroom, there is a second room which I use as an office that could be used to sleep a third person/child. There is a lovely outlook from the balcony which enjoys privacy in all but winter from a very large chestnut tree which grows nearby.

I'm located on a quiet street which runs parallel to the Gorge Waterway, a protected inland waterway which flows out to the Victoria harbour. It's less than 10 minutes to town and the inner harbour by car, a comfortable 40-minutes on foot, and harbour ferries and buses stop regularly just 10 minutes from the door. Victoria is known for Butchart Gardens and the Empress Hotel which are must-sees when visiting, but there are many additional historic sites to see, gardens and planters in bloom everywhere, wonderful waterfront walks, places to bike, lots of antique shops and enviable temperate weather almost all year long.
