This is a comfy home where fruit trees are nestled by big fir trees in the backyard. The living room & dining room graciously welcome visitors. Come & enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with new appliances (Jan.2013) where sunlight streams in. You can easily seat 5 people at the kitchen nook which is connected to the spacious family room. Here is housed new 60 inch TV with surround sound and Wii connections. Choose a quiet evening from the selection of movies on Movie Central or Netflicks. Choose your favourite shows or movies & record them on PVR Wireless internet is available. Off the family room is a large balcony where the natural gas BBQ is always under the roof and you can sit & enjoy the view. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed which has a walkout balcony and 3 piece ensuite. In the other two bedrooms, there is a queen sized bed and a double sized bed.

Located in a quiet and highly desirable neighbourhood. My home is on a spacious picturesque corner lot of a south sloping hill. Below is the partial view of agricultural land and one of the golf courses nearby. The nearest golf course is half a km away. Many amenities are nearby: recreational facilities (swimming, skating, fitness), public library, park, pub, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, banks, buses and more. Something about ourselves

We are both retired (60 yrs) and are looking forward to traveling as much as we can. The children have grown & are on their own. I retired from teaching elementary school and Ken retired from being a ship's officer. We enjoy camping, fishing, food, beautiful buildings & landscape. Ken loves his museums & history. We now have a "hospitality" (Nova Scotians), a simultaneous (33 days in Germany) and a non-simultaneous exchange (Waterloo, Ont,) under our belt. Homes for exchange is a wonderful experience. People seem to be of the same mind - worked hard to get to retirement and want to enjoy the world in a friendly environment. Our first lengthy exchange was in Germany for a month which was very enjoyable & successful. Our experiences have been very positive & we like to keep in contact during our exchange via the internet.
