We offer a large and sunny apartment with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms close to the beach. From the living room and balcony you can see the bay, the Gulf Islands (Canada) and the San Juan Islands (US). Facing south ensures a bright welcome even on an overcast day. Our neighbours are quiet and caring but not intrusive. If it gets cool there is a cosy fireplace.
We have all the modern kitchen appliances and amenities including computers internet and netflix.
Our home is located on a quiet street but close enough to walk to shops and great restaurants. We are located on a hill directly above the pier and beach-it is an easy walk down (5 minutes) but you need to be fit to walk back up.
The balcony is not big but is private and cozy with a Bar BQ and small herb garden. A great place to enjoy the colourful sunsets. We are situated in White Rock which is a friendly seaside town with a safe beach and lively pier and promenade for walking. Restaurants of all kinds line the beach. There are many parks and recreational facilities in the area. Kayaking and paddle boarding are common sports on the bay and river. Local parks provide miles of walking and hiking. Every Sunday in the summer there is a local farmer's market. There are many places for daytrips such as Whistler where the winter Olympics were held in 2010.
White Rock is 5 minutes form the Canada/USA border and Seattle is approximately 2.5 hours away.
Vancouver is an easy 50 minute bus/skytrain ride away. Enjoy the big city but relax in this peaceful home at night.
