Whistler was the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics in February and the Winter Paralympics in March. We are just a 10 minute drive or bus (public transport at the door) to the village itself. You will also enjoy a sense of privacy and serenity amid the busyness of a major tourist destination. From our door we can access walking, biking,and hiking trails along a beautiful river. The paved Valley Trail system-wonderful for bike rides-covers the whole valley floor, connecting lakes, parks and neighbourhoods. The village itself offers top-class restaurants and shopping opportunities. There is also top resort golf courses, zip-lining, bungy jumping and canoeing in the summer, and alpine & Cross country skiing in the winter ..there is always something to do in our beautiful outdoors! We are an active couple, Andree from Canada, and Ales from Slovenia, and we love to travel and enjoy meeting and experiencing the local culture of the people and places we visit. We are working with Olympic athletes and travelling with the World Cup Fis Alpine tour for more than 12 years, as a Physical Therapist and a Ski Technician. We love sports and we are looking for somewhere warm to travel. We are now calling Whistler home and purchase a new townhome and would like to share it with you! We will take care of your home like it is ours !
