Charming Victorian home and garden is also the artist studio of an award winning business. There is a woodburning stove for the winter and spacious patio for the rest of the year. Or you can cook in our comfortable eat in kitchen and sunroom. There is a king size bed and a TV/DVD (no cable) in the bedroom. Outside our beautiful garden features two ponds connected by a stream that are home to many fish including two Koi and benches throughout encourage you just to hang out.

Our home is located in funky Fernwood just two blocks from Belfry square which is home to art galleries, a theatre and several fine restaurants and coffee shops. We are a lesbian couple who have been together for twenty-five years and love our life in Victoria with our Bouvier Joop and our little Victorian house. Dieuwertje, (60) was born in Holland and Frances, (55) hails from the Canadian praries but we both have grown to love the West Coast. Dieuwertje is an artist/woodworker who designs builds and installs custom gates passageways and furniture for the out of doors. Frances is a certified Sommelier who works at Zambris the best Italian restaurant in town. She also runs the business and writes for the website. We share a passion for architecture both in the home and garden and would love to explore other cultures.
