We are centrally located on Vancouver Island in a quiet residental neighbourhood. The Comox Marina is a 10 minute drive where you leave to go sailing or salmom fishing. Drive another 5 minutes and you have two ocean beaches to explore or you are at our international airport. In 30 minutes we can be on Mount Washington. There you can experience some fantastic skiing, snow boarding, snow shoeing in the winter,( the snow was second deepest in the world in 2009/10), or mountain biking and alpine hiking in summer!. The Comox Valley boasts many golf courses and hiking trails. The famous Crown Isle Golf and Country club is 4 minutes away. The Comox Valley Aquatic Center is 4.5 minutes away.
Residents can kayak, fish, sail, play tennis, golf or hike all year round minus a week or two.
You will want to explore the west coast of the Island visiting Uclulet, Tofino and Long Beach, go north for whale watching expeditions, or go south for the culture of our capital city, Victoria. You will want to spend several days in Victoria and we can recommend great places to dine, visit and and stay.

Richard is a retired Environmental Health Officer just waiting for Joan (Registered O.R. Nurse) to retire next spring so we can go see the world using home exchanges! We both love to travel, garden, golf and take long walks. Joan loves needlework (cross-stitch and knitting) and reading. Richard enjoys puttering around the home and yard, flying model airplanes and volunteering construction work at friends houses. He loves Archeology and wants to visit anywhere there are "old stones"! We enjoy a large network of friends from our church and community.
Both of our children live on the Island with their families (we have 5 grand-daughters who are the joy of our lives!). They would be delighted to show you around their towns (Sidney and Ladysmith).
Be blessed.
