Description of our house
Our home is a cozy quiet apt. set high in the mountains of an Alpine Ski Resort. We have a sunken living room, with a woodburning fireplace.
The sundeck overlooks the Mtn.tops and valleys.
Although it is a 2 bedroom, it has a sofa bed that can sleep 2 adults, + a bunkbed nook that can sleep 2 children. So 6 adults + 2 kids. A great place for familys.
Very safe for children, lots of space to run and play right outside your door.
Close to the store (5 min), 10 min walk to the main lodge. Very cozy and so peaceful.

Our neighborhoodour apt. sits on the top of a mtn. Winter there is snow to the windows. Summer it is green, with gnarled trees,thawing from their long winter freeze. The wiskey jacks flutter around, eating out of your hands. Skiing ,snow boarding ,sleding ,shoeing,wonderful x-country, right out side your door. In the summer, hiking biking,fly fishing,Salt or fresh water, horse back riding,Chair lifts are open year round. 30 mins to Comox or Courtenay,(drive).
The ocean is right there for salt water fishing diving, and the seafood is second to none. Great golfing in the Comox Valley.

Something about ourselvesWe are Palmer & Darlene. We're in our early 50's,and have 2 adult son's, and one black lab named maddy.I love to cook,shop and try new foods. We like to wander,look, lay back and relax, look at antiques, shop & dine. We love the ocean and outdoors skiing,fishing, snorkeling and swimming.
We've done 5 home exchanges and have had a great time with each one.
