Modern timberframe home with all the amenities. Main part of chalet has 4 bedrooms (2 master suites and 2 additional bedrooms). This is a holiday home which is rented out during the ski season. The main house or a separate lower suite is exchangeable during the months of April to December. Ski season dates may be possible if booked well in advance or at the last minute. Chalet is built on a former ski run at Fernie Alpine Resort. The neighbourhood can be busy weekends during the ski season but is very quiet the rest of the year. The ski village is a few hundred meters away. The town of Fernie is 5 km. Skiing, hiking, mountain biking, world class trout fishing are all right here. Back country mountaineering and Island Lake Lodge Cat skiing are just minutes away. Something about ourselves

We are a family of 5. Kim and Jane plus 3 children. The kids; 21, 19 and 17, may or may not travel with us. School, university, and summer jobs may keep the kids at home in Calgary where we live. We try to avoid travel during peak holiday times (but we are open to offers), preferring to explore new places in April-June or Sept-December. Our son is allergic to cats/dogs/horses and so we avoid homes where there have benn pets.
