Description of our house

![]() ]
Our Vancouver Island home is a townhome in a gated, adult-oriented waterfront community. It has 1400 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on one level. The dining room and living room are bright and spacious, overlooking the deck and a pond. It is a 2 minute walk to the ocean (Strait of Georgia) where a beachfront sitting area is the perfect place to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, to watch the cruise ships heading to Alaska or to just relax. When the tide is out, a sand beach offers many more possibilities.

We are Pam and Don, retired teachers, who love the Vancouver Island life style but long to see other parts of the world. We have just completed our first home exchange, a totally successful and memorable experience, in Germany. Many/most locations interest us and we are free to travel 12 months of the year for short or long term stays. Opportunities to spend the winter in warmer climates are always inviting but we also love sightseeing and touring in new areas. ![]()
