Granville Island is an area of beautiful gardens and a European style market along a saltwater inlet right in the middle of the city of Vancouver. Access is by a car or foot. Walk to the famous Granville Island Market, a food lovers dream come true. Sample fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and seafood fresh off the fishing boats, admire the fresh flowers and enjoy the work of the local artisans. Take the little ferries around the ocean inlet to other parts of the city. With lots of great restaurants and a theatre within walking distance there is always something to do without leaving the neighbourhood. Go for a dinner cruise, see a Shakespearean play at an outdoor theatre, rent a boat or bicycle and discover the city. Kitsilano with it's popular sandy beaches is a 2.5 k walk along the sea walk or 5 min by car.Vancouver is known for fine dining, beautiful scenery, and its historical China Town, the second largest in North America. Our apartment is very central, and steps away from public transit which takes you downtown, to the beaches, to the mountains, to shopping and great restaurants. ![]() Something about ourselves

My wife, Anne Marie and I, Bill, are in our fifties. I am a forester and my wife is a nurse. We enjoy traveling, music, art, learning about other cultures, gardening, cooking and meeting new people. Our homes are very important to us as we enjoy creating areas that reflect our interests, our travels, and our family. We promise we will treat your home with the same love and respect we do our own. This is our second home. ![]()
