Description of our house

![]() ]
We love our spacious multilevel home close to the base of the Grouse Mountain sky-ride. It is a 3 bedroom home in natural surroundings and tranquil views in all directions. Two of the bedrooms have a view of the mountains and woods. Our yard backs onto green space with a variety of birds and other forms of wildlife in our garden. Hummingbirds come to the feeder and it is entertaining to watch the playful squirrels running along the fence and trees. The back deck just off of the family/tv room is perfect for barbecues. New photos coming soon....

We live in a quiet and very safe neighbourhood on the slope of Grouse Mountain, which offers winter sports as well as a big variety of summer activities. The gondola/tram going up and down the mountain is a 5 minute walk from our home. We also live minutes away from public transport. We have a play park for children and tennis court around the corner. North Vancouver is a hiker's paradise and various hiking trails are literally on our doorstep. The ocean is also close by - 10 minutes by car. With lots of natural creeks, inlets and ocean water around, rowing, kayaking and canoeing are popular summer activities. Downtown Vancouver is easily accessible and Whistler ski resort (home of 2010 Winter Olympics) is a mere 2 hour drive away Vancouver offers every opportunity and facility imaginable from culture and arts to fine dining and shopping We have other tourist attractions in close proximity e.g.Capilano Suspension Bridge, Cleveland dam, Edgemont Village for shopping, Lonsdale Quay and Market, and the Seabus to downtown Vancouver. Vancouver International Airport(YVR) is about half an hour's drive from the North Shore. Photos will be posted soon! Something about ourselves
