We have a modern west coast ocean front home. Our home is open and bright with plenty of windows to take advantage of living on the ocean. Our home, a charming 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, is situated in a idllic setting. The bedrooms and laundry rooms are located on the second floor and the living area on the main. A private patio lends itself to enjoying the natural surroundings while appreciating the sunsets over the mountains on Vancouver Island. Beautiful flower gardens surround the house. Stairs lead off the front of our property down to the beach. A marina is located 50 yards away.

Our ocean front community is situated on the Sunshine Coast appropriately named as we have one of the mildest climates in Canada. It is located 100 miles north of Vancouver BC. You can either take a 25 minute plane ride from Vancouver or experience the coastal life by taking two 45 minute car/passenger ferries and an hour drive along the Sunshine Coast. We are also a 70 minute ferry ride from the beautiful Vancouver Island. Our community of 20,000 people is situated at the door step of the world acclaimed Desolation Sound. Boaters from all over the world come to this pristine wilderness marine park for boating, fishing, sailing, and kayaking. Powell River is the dive capital of the world. If the marine life is not for you, there are miles of hiking trails, or a round of golf on a 18 hole championship course, just minutes away from home. We also have a very active arts community, which hosts, choral fests, jazz summits and other musical concerts. In addition there is a sizable French community in Powell River. Sharon and I are in our mid and late 50's and are both retired self employed professionals, with no children. We have traveled extensively. Non-simultaneous exchanges are an option. We take pride in our home which we have lived in for 18 years and would take good care of yours.
