Beautiful woodwork, artistic heritage house, hardwood floors, high ceilings, leather couches, washer and dryer in the kitchen. Trampoline and sand box in the back yard. Perfect for a couple or small family. Second bedroom is my sewing/computer room with a murphy bed and makes into a functional guest or kid's room. Eclectic art and literature throughout the house. Flat screen tv/dvd, wireless internet, but home computer not available. A basement full of toys for babies through to 7 year olds, including bikes and scooters. There is an indoor/outdoor cat and two backyard chickens (named Sam and Ella). If guests don't want to feed them, neighbours will take on the animal care.

Fairfield is a family oriented quiet neighbourhood, Shopping, cafe's nearby. Yoga studio 1 block away. Two blocks from the beach. Perfect for jogging or biking. 3 adult bikes available and a chariot trailer for kids. Twenty minute walk to downtown Victoria.On a bus route. Street parking and driveway. I am the artistic director of my dance school for adults now in its 30th year in Victoria. I am a performer in dance and theatre. I sing in a choir. I love colours and interesting creative people and love the idea of exploring new cities while giving people the opportunity to do the same from my home. My sons and families live in Berkeley and Oakland California, so I would love to exchange there in order to see my sons. But I am also wanting to travel further abroad. See the Homepage.
