Description of our house
Our house is located on a lovely tree-lined street looking out to the ocean. There is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a child's room with two twin beds. We also have a family room with a pull-out bed in the couch. We have two full bathrooms. Our kitchen, living room and dining room are all open so you can visit with everyone and enjoy the light from the many windows that look out into our garden. We have a small but private backyard with a sunny patio, swing set, shed and lots of trees. We have friendly neighbours who will be glad to assist you in making the most of your visit.

Our neighborhoodIf you walk to the bottom of our street you will see a spectacular view from the cliff out to the ocean. From there you can head down 300 hundred steps to walk along the cobbley beach which leads to Crescent Beach. We have two adult bikes and a child's bike for rides in the many wooded trails nearby. From our house you can take a 3 minute walk to a quiet shopping area where you can get fresh produce and grocery items as well as DVD's, wine, and delicatessen items. A 10 minute drive will take you to the sandy beaches of White Rock and quaint shops and restaurants. A 45 minute drive will take you into downtown Vancouver for theatres, shopping, museums, famous Stanley Park and more beaches. The bus stop is located at the top of our street. White Rock is 2 and a half hours from Whistler, 45 minutes from the ferry to Victoria and the Gulf Islands, and 20 minutes from the border to the USA.

Something about ourselvesWe are teachers with two girls aged 8 and 14. After experiencing a very successful home exchange with a family from France this summer, we are now interested in exchanging homes with families in Italy, Spain, the Caribbean, Switzerland or Britain. We love bike riding, Skiing, Snowboarding, Snorkling, walks in nature, touring cities and exploring museums and historic sites. We enjoy good food, a delicious glass of wine or beer, and meeting new people.
