Our 3 bedroom + loft townhome in Whistler has everything you would ever need for a great vacation at any time of the year. We have 3 bedrooms with queen beds in 2 of them and double bunk beds in the other. With 2 single beds in the loft, the house can easily accommodate 10 people. There are 2 bathrooms, one with full bath and shower, and the other with a shower, sauna, washer and dryer. Both have been completely renovated in 2010. The kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances, and has been completely renovated in 2008. The dining room fits 10 + people, and the comfortable living room is a great place to relax and enjoy the wood stove at the end of a day of enjoying the many outdoor activities. There is a deck with gas barbeque through the sliding glass doors. We often get visits from beautiful Stellar's Jays on our balcony to add to the beauty of watching the snow fall in the trees.

Whistler is a phenomenal outdoor destination. It is the host of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic games, and is consistently rated as the best ski resort in North America, and possibly the world. There are 2 amazing mountains with over 8100 acres of terrain including over 200 runs. (see http://www.whistlerblackcomb.com for all the details) We are located 1 km south of Creekside, the original face of Whistler Mountain. This provides easy access with parking for uploading on the Creekside Gondola. Because most of the traffic in the Village goes further north, this makes it especially simple and hassle free to get to and from the slopes, while providing access to lifts on both mountains. There are restaurants, grocery store, ski rentals and all kinds of shops at Creekside, which is a 10 minute walk from our home (although you may take the municipal bus if you prefer). Although Whistler is best known for its skiing, it is also a summer paradise, providing excellent hiking, mountain biking, golf, fresh water-lake swimming and sightseeing lifts. There are also all kinds of attractions on the Sea-to-Sky Highway from Vancouver, and a day trip into the city is also worthwhile. The trip takes about 2 hours each way. Something about ourselves

Amanda and Gerry are obstetricians who work in Vancouver. Louis is 17 and Dominique is 15. We love to spend as much time as possible in Whistler, as we love to be outside, skiing or hiking together. We also love the après-ski of cooking a great meal, and relaxing with a bottle of wine in front of the fire. Because this is our second home, a non-simultaneous swap would be easy for us. We can only travel during school breaks (summer, Christmas/New Year and spring break), but the townhouse could be available at any time. We will be glad to look after your home as we look after our own. We expect that you will love this beautiful place as much as we do!
