Our 3 storey, newly renovated townhouse, is in a private, gated complex. We enjoy a 180o view of Vancouver's harbour and vibrant downtown, Mount Baker in the USA, and Vancouver Island. Entrance is through a beautifully landscaped courtyard. The main floor features the living and dining rooms, kitchen and eating area, a deck with electric barbeque, laundry, and powder room. Floor 2 has a large master bedroom with queen-sized bed, sundeck and ensuite bathroom (soaker tub and large shower), a second bedroom with double-bed, and full bathroom. The top level has an office and a TV room and the best views of all. We are well-equipped for small children (baby equipment, toys, books, games, etc.) as we are grandparents of 3 boys and 2 girls. We have wonderful neighbours.

Located on the north shore of Vancouver's harbour, 7 blocks from the waterfront, at the base of the North Shore mountains. Two blocks to buses and connecting ferry to downtown Vancouver (12 minute crossing). Walking distance to many restaurants, cinemas, pubs, shopping, recreation centre. Easy day-trips to Whistler-Blackcomb (site of the 2010 Olympics) and Vancouver Island. Winter skiing minutes away. Year-round water-based activities, golf courses abound. Downtown Vancouver offers unique areas such as Stanley Park, the West End, Yaletown, Granville Market and Chinatown. After your stay at our home you can extend your vacation by taking a cruise ship from Vancouver Harbour (we watch them leave from our 3rd floor window) to Alaska and back. Carol has recently retired from a community college. Terry has just retired as a Paramedic with the Provincial Ambulance Service. We take pride in our home, and will take very good care of yours. We have travelled the world for many years and we have had very successful home exchanges in Copenhagen, Buenos Aires, Sydney and Prague. We look forward to the next adventure.
