Description of our house
We have a beautiful condo on the 21st floor of a modern high-rise in downtown Vancouver. It's considered rather large for Vancouver (over 1,100 sq. ft), including a big master bedroom and master bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a large open living room/dining room area with floor-to-ceiling windows. There is a den with wireless internet, plus a 2nd bedroom that is currently used as an office (but we could arrange a bed for that room if necessary). We have a beautiful view of Vancouver. During the day, you can see the famous Vancouver water taxis (False Creek Ferries) shuttling back and forth to Granville Island. And at night, the downtown skyline is especially pretty. Our furnishings are all clean, contemporary, and comfortable. And the building has parking and a gym with steamroom.

Our neighborhoodOur neighborhood is called Yaletown, a very vibrant area full of great restaurants and galleries. We're just blocks from Vancouver's 20 km. seawall and biking path, and within very easy walking distance of the Symphony, museums, shopping, Chinatown, etc. Plus, you can drive to the mountains in less than an hour.

Something about ourselvesWe are an American couple, both 50 years old. We are semi-retired, so we can often travel at the last minute. We love visiting urban areas with good museums, restaurants, classical music, biking, etc.
We are hoping to spend 2-4 weeks in Paris during Spring 2009 (late April through May). NON-SIMULTANEOUS EXCHANGES ARE POSSIBLE, as we have another home that we can stay in as necessary.
