Hand-scribed custom log home at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Spectacular valley views out front and private forest view out back. 50m. to nearest ski run by private path. Home has 4 queen beds, one twin and one futon in 5 separate sleeping areas. 10, 15 and 25 foot ceilings. Massive stone, wood burning fireplace. Huge well equiped kitchen. In floor radiant heating. private 8 person hot tub. Foozball table. Lower level has ski room with drier for 8 pairs of boots and gloves. Double car heated garage.

Kicking Horse is famous for its powder and high alpine chutes. Our home has one of the best ski-in ski-out locations at the resort. Golden sits between and within a one hour drive from Banff, Glacier, Kootenay and Yoho National Parks. It is 1 to 1 1/2 hours to the ski resorts at Lake Louise, Sunshine in Banff and Revelstoke Mountain Resort. There are extensive cross country skiing and snow shoeing trails at the resort. Heli skiing and skidooing are nearby. Summer has downhill and XC mountain biking, one of BC's best golf courses, white water rafting, hiking, fishing, mountain climbing etc etc. There is a grizley bear refuge on the mountain and a wolf interpretive center nearby. The Columbia wetlands (a world heritage site) is nearby. We have a canoe to explore it with. Excelent restaurants are nearby. Something about ourselves

We are Brian and Jackie. We are both MD's. Our Children are 25, 22 and 18 so they will generally not be traveling with us. We are more into active holidays than big cities or beaches. (although great windsurfing and scuba is always a draw) We have three prior home exchanges and stayed in Gites in France and loved having a private home to stay in. As this is a vacation home we are quite flexible as to when it can be used.
