Oak Bay is a suburb of Victoria about 10 minutes from downtown and the Inner Harbour. It is wonderful neighbourhood, friendly and very safe. Fairly upscale but in an unassuming way. It is situated at the southern tip of Vancouver Island and nowhere is the sea more than a few minutes walk. There is Oak Bay village with every amenity - restaurants, bakeries, banks, grocery stores, flower shops, everything you need and mostly within walking distance. It has its own fire and police department, garbage collection, recycling and composting. We all know we are very lucky to live here. Something about ourselves

I would like to live in France for an extended period and would be interested in a 6 month exchange. Ideally I would like to be in the north but it doesn't really matter. I am a not very old widow with children in England so it would be great to have a big enough place so they could visit. If I were to go for 6 months I would like to bring my old Labrador Retriever with me. We are both very well behaved and clean and respectful!
