Description of our house

Our apartment has three storeys (230m2). On the top floor we have a terrace, a bar and a small pool with a very nice view of the mountains and the Christ, the middle floor has a living room and dining area, kitchen, laundry and office. The third floor has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have cable with international channels (English). The main bedroom has a nice bath tub with a view to the mountains and a double bed, the second is my son's room and has two single beds. My daughter's room has 3 single beds. The kid rooms are full of toys, games, etc. The apartment is child proofed, with protection nets in every window. We have Wi-Fi Internet Connection and an office with a computer available for guest to use. We also have air conditioning in every single room. Our apartment is also very easy to clean and maintain (ideal for vacation). Kitchen is fully equipped.

We are in a very central location in Rio. Basically every tourist attraction is about 10 minutes from our apartment. Looking towards the end of our street you will see the Sugar Loaf. It is a quiet residential area, the apartment complex is very safe, we have 24X7 security and our neighbors are mostly families. The area is central, but surrounded by a nice green mountain (no shantytowns around), where we sometimes can see little monkeys. There is a larger pool, a sauna, a small gym and a kid's playground in the first floor of the building. The subway is two blocks from our street; there are bakeries, pharmacies, supermarkets and a large shopping mall within a couple of blocks. There is also a 24 hour taxi stop right in front of the appartment. Something about ourselves

We are a family of four. My husband José is 46 and a TV Sports Journalist and I am 44 and work as a Translator. We love Arts, Sports and Cultural Activities in general. We have two children, a boy who is 15 and loves surfing, soccer and all sorts of sports and games and a girl who is 9 and enjoys drawing, music and dancing. My husband and I always loved travelling and now we enjoy it even more with our kids. The kids are well behaved and used to travelling. My husband and I speak English, French, Portuguese and some Spanish. Both kids are learning English. He had one very nice exchange with a couple in San Diego, 2009, and another one in Paris in 2010. Both were great experiences.
