Although our house stands alone, in the middle of moors and at the edge of our wood, highlights of Belgium are never far away. The magnificent medieval city of Bruges is just 12 km away. The beatiful Belgian seaside with large sandy beaches is only 20 km by a major road, while Europe's capital Brussels is about an hour away. Other important Belgian cities like Antwerp or Ghent can be reached in no time as well. Even Paris (2,5 hours) and Amsterdam (3 hours) are not out of reach. But above all, the road in which our house is situated knows very little traffic, so you'll be at your ease.

We are a family of five. Mother works as a physiotherapist in the house and gives lessons too. Father works in Ghent for a lobby organisation. Oldest doughter Emma (11) is the major piano player, Anton (10) is a real football fan and youngest doughter Roos (6) is quickly discovering the world. They're all very careful. We've had several succesful exchange experiences both in Europe and outside it! We love to discover new places, especially the wonders of nature but also the attractions of cities.
