Leaving the house you will find street-car (tram), bus and subway (underground) within easy walking distance (5 min. max.), and will you will reach the heart of the city by foot in less than 15 minutes. Very good restaurants in abundance nearby, you have the choice between expensive and moderately to low priced food of all kinds. My husband, a retired Physicist and I, retired secretary, live in a big condo-flat in the Vienna woods and use the offered condo-flat for enjoying Vienna with theaters, concerts, museums, and meeting with our many friends there etc. We love having guests and speak English very well. We also like to travel and have been as far as New Zealand, Australia and the USA, and almost all over Europe by our own car.
