Ours is a large, elegant Tuscan style home, set high on a hill, with sea views from the upper storey and patio area. Our living areas are light, bright and spacious, but friends tell us that our home retains its 'homely' feel. The large patio area which adjoins the kitchen/family room is a great place for summer entertaining with its built-in gas BBQ, outdoor speakers and tinkling water wall. When the temperature rises you will love swimming in our beautiful pool, which has a pretty water feature and small, well-kept garden beds. The fifth bedroom (with shower and toilet) is seperate from the main house and is beside the pool area which makes a handy place for guests to change. In the evening, as the lights go down you will love the beautiful garden and pool lighting which gives the whole area a 'resort' feel.

Our home is set in a quiet, cul de sac and is surrounded by similar elegant properties owned by like-minded people. The houses are set far enough apart so that you have your own space and privacy, but you can always be assured of a friendly smile and a chat or a helping hand, should you need one. You are surrounded by lovely friendly neighbours on all sides. Hillarys Marina and Boat Harbour is a short pleasant walk away and here you will find restaurants and shops as well as two safe swimming beaches. Something about ourselves

We are Karen and Richard, a married couple with three grown-up children. Richard is a oceanographer and I am employed as a temporary secretary. We are approaching the time when we can really indulge our passion for travel and what better way to see the world than by exchanging homes with like-minded people, who enjoy really immersing themselves in the local culture. We would hope to get to know a little about our 'swappers' in advance, to be better able to answer any questions they may have. We would like our first house-swap to be a mutually pleasurable and hopefully often repeated experience. We will always be respectful of your lovely home and we hope you will do the same for us.
