Binningup is a small friendly coastal community just 10 minutes away from great shopping and ideally situated half way between Perth and the famous wine growing and surfing region of Margaret River (1.5 hrs driving.) My home is a great base to explore the many attractions of the local area. For the eco adventurer the famous Bibbulum & Cape to Cape tracks offer some of the most breath taking scenery and walking trails found in the South West of W.A.and access to both is close by. For the gourmet traveller, there are many wineries, boutique breweries, olive, cheese and gourmet food producers including the famous Manjimup Wine & Truffle Co.quickly gaining an international reputation for producing these much sort after delicacies. For those interested in early history then a trip to Albany is a must. Albany has many historic buildings and an old whaling station & this picturesque town has a definite English feel & excellent Saturday produce markets. The forests at Denmark enroute to Albany have some of the largest & rarest trees and flora found anywhere in Australia and the Tree Tops walk is an excellent way to see them. ![]() Something about ourselves

I am a single lady working in the West Australian mining industry and I have chosen Binningup as my home (my sea change) as it really is a magic part of Western Australia with so much on offer. I enjoy hiking & have travelled extensively over the years with lots more travel to come as time and as my work permits. I enjoy exploring both Australia & overseas destinations. I also love to welcome people into my home and entertain them in typical Aussie style so I am happy to host guests on exchange. I have just returned (Sept 2012) from a month away visiting London/Leicester, S.Ireland,& Cinque Terre In Italy and had a marvellous time and am keen to go again in 2013. I hosted my first exchange (non-simultateous) in Oct'11 with a lovely couple from England & have just visited them. It was a great success and I am very keen to do more exchanges as I think this is the best way to make new friends & explore other people's countries. ![]()
