Our home is five years old and is a large three-storey terrace house with four balconies. There is a large lounge, dining room and fully equipped modern kitchen on the ground floor. The second floor has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a second lounge area. The main bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed with ensuite bathroom. On the third floor is a large loft that we use as a study, but it could be used as a bedroom if needed. There is underground parking below the house for 2 cars. Car exchange is possible. A cleaner is available if desired.

Our neighborhood
We live in North Perth, which is one of Perth’s vibrant, inner-city districts located only 2km from the Perth city centre. Our house is situated on a quiet leafy street and is a 2 minute walk to one of Perth’s best café strips where you will find everything you could need including fine restaurants, local cafes, wine bars, good shopping, local parks, day spas, a supermarket etc. Perth is famous for it’s white sandy beaches, beautiful scenery, warm and sunny weather, water sports, excellent food and wine and its laid back lifestyle. We are Tom and Kristy, a married couple in our 30’s. We both run our own businesses; Tom works as an Intellectual Property Attorney and Kristy works as a Clinical Psychologist. We are both experienced travelers and love learning about other countries. We have been fortunate to organize a home exchange in Europe for 6 months commencing late December 2009 and plan to travel through the US for 6 weeks prior to this time. We are looking to do a 2-3 week exchange during November 10th - December 21st 2009. We are interested in several states in the US, however we would prefer to be close to New York or San Francisco. We require high-speed Internet to keep in touch with our businesses while we are away.
