Description of our house

My home is a spacious open-plan house with extensive solid wooden jarrah floors in living areas which include, passage, kitchen, dining family/games room. The main bedroom has a walk in robe and an ensuite with a separate toilet. There is another queen sized bed in Bedroom 4 and a single bed in the third bedroom. I use the second bedroom for sewing/ironing. There is separate laundry containing washing machine and dryer. The house has airconditioning and heating. Lawn areas and garden are reticulated. (I use a mowing contractor.) I have renovated much of the house and now the kitchen so it is quite spick and span and new and so easy to clean and maintain.

Kingsley is a quiet neighbourhood, close to a local shopping centre, 5 minute walk to Greenwood train station, 5 minute drive to Hillarys Boat harbour and shopping including cafes and Sorrento Beach. From Hillarys one can walk along the beach front north and south as it is a popular walk throughout the year. Along the way are many cafes. A larger shopping centre, Karrinyup is a ten minute drive. The freeway is 3 minute drive from the house. Golf courses are nearby as are tennis courts, local parks and cinemas. Something about ourselves

I am in my 60's, still teaching full time at a nearby primary school. Art (watercolour and sculpture)is my love along with music and other handcrafts. I have been separated for several years and have two adult children, one in USA and the other in country W.A. I have travelled many times to Canada where I have many friends. Housewise, I am quite particular about maintaining a neat house. I would prefer older exchangees who share the same standard of "house". I would like to go back to canada or southern France where I could spend time painting.
