Busselton is located in a wonderful area of Western Australia at the gateway to the famous Margaret River wine region and world class surf. There are many wineries and galleries to visit, as well as magnificent karri forests, caves and wildlife. You can go hiking, fishing, bike riding, bird watching and picnicking, swim in secluded bays, explore caves and go whale watching in season (whales have been sighted from our front deck and we often watch dolphins playing only metres from the shore). For diving enthusiasts there are several renowned dive sites and the less intrepid can view the spectacular marine life from the underwater observatory situated at the end of Busselton's famous 1.8km long jetty, regarded as one of Australia's best artificial reefs. A walking/cycle path runs past our house to Busselton town 2 kms away. ![]() Something about ourselves

Margaret and Kevin, with two adult daughters. We love nature, bushwalking, birdwatching, camping, as well as enjoying new places, customs and cultures. Because our house has a self-contained apartment upstairs, non-conjunctional swaps would also work for us. We have experienced many successful exchanges including a wonderful 5 months exchanging around-the-world. We are planning visits to USA and South Africa in 2013 and with the recent birth of our beautiful granddaughter in Melbourne will always be seeking exchanges to that city. ![]()
