Ours is a comfortable, clean house with all "mod cons". If climbing stairs isn't for you, the bedroom downstairs adjoins a bathroom and is spacious enough to use as a main bedroom. A small electric BBQ on the front balcony and a large gas BBQ on the back patio allow us to eat outside easily to take full advantage of Perth's beautiful weather.

From the kitchen/living room you can often see pods of dolphins; frequent wine cruise boats, fishers, rowers and recreational boats on the Swan River. You can walk to tennis, golf and bowling clubs where you, as a visitor, will be made welcome. You can take your choice of beautiful walks from the house and you are only 20 mins from the Swan River wine growing region. To add to the interest in the neighbourhood the WA Police horses and dogs are housed and trained at the end of the street and are frequently seen passing the house during their exercise sessions. Gerry and I are both retired and he now has the time to indulge his great love - motor sailing. Each year he heads north from April to July/August in his yacht and I plan trips overseas with my girlfriends and sometimes family. I thoroughly enjoyed my first exchange experience and look forward to the next. I loved the feeling of coming "home" after a hard day beating the tourist track. Very relaxing.....
